Within my artistic practice I explore stories of place, people and myth.
I am most interested in things unseen, unheard or forgotten by the world and bringing those into awareness.
I look at symbology rooted within story and mythology and drawing out the essence of these stories to create work that has meaning or representations to the research being referenced. My artistic practice has a deep connection to place, ecology and people and is also symbolic in this way; portraying the interlinked connections between stories the natural environment and the relationship humans hold with cultural stories.
The media I use varies accordingly to how the art works speaks to me and because of this I have developed a versatile base of work across differing mediums.
